Hillary reviews!!! What do Customers say? - Don't touch this cowboys company if you value.......


Surely Trust Pilot should be suspicious, as i  personally feel  Hillary’s blinds are faking their own five star review. The five star reviews  are from said customers nominating there fitters names and  serial numbers . No fitter gave me a serial number . first let us  look at  Genuine reviews. I will add the links at bottom of page.

Dont Trust this Company

  • I have been trying to sort a matter out with regards to an quotation about some curtains I got a quote for, however after me telling the agent representative that we could not afford the curtain's from them twelve months down the line they had escalated it to an order

  • I tried talking to them with no effect they endeavored to talk one of us to court issuing a CCJ, no one have even tried contacting me from Hillary's even that I have put these reviews on Trust pilot

Not good quality and have a very limited life span.

We were told that the blinds would keep out the sun even if not 'black-out' standard. That was incorrect. The blinds don't keep out the sun. Our blinds lasted ten years after which every set has had a couple of the vertical slats somehow twist around so that the overall effect is now that most of the slats go in one direction and some hang in the opposite direction or do not turn at all. I rang up to ask about repairs - Hillary blinds don't do repairs. So, they expect you to buy a whole new set.

 Dissatisfied service,shocking!! 

We had very good expensive wooden Venetian blinds installed 6 years ago. The string broke on 1 set, normal wear & tear, but Hilary Blinds refuse to repair/assist in anyway! Furious! They did offer to send out parts, so string in the post!! Unbelievable. Be careful spending a small fortune with them, as you will be left very dissatisfied if something goes wrong!! Never again!

Was delivered 3 blinds on Friday 2 correct 1 totally wrong order. Name correct on box but inside another person’s order Customer service no help and now a wait see for when correct blind might be delivered. Not even anyone to chase for potential delivery. Have spent a large amount of money in past 18mths with them. Doubtful if will take business to them again or recommend.

Unacceptable delay.

Ordered some shutters last January, went with them because they had fitted some before for us. They said it would be August… a longtime but agreed. Days before fitting told that the shutters wouldn’t be in the country till September. So earliest fitting would be October!!! Still not given a date so contacted them to complain, twice, no response. They are either busy or as I suspect having numerous complaints. Don’t order from them. Wish I had gone with a local reliable firm

 After bombarding Hillarys with numerious....

After bombarding Hillarys with numerous emails, i received a refund. Also brought a gadget online that open & close my old blinds. I washed my old blinds of 20 years in sugar soap, came up brilliant. Gadget cost £48. All my 7 blinds are now electric for under £400. Hillary was charging me £900 for 4 windows only 2 would have been electric. I'm glad fitter didn't turn up Hillarys. Done me a big favour. Hillary are NOT reading these reviews guys. They don't care. Money hungry only.

 Time wasters and unreliable!! 

3 Appointments arranged failed to come to measure and provide a quote, 1st advised wasn’t working, second time came 5 hours earlier third time no show Preston - Adam)! Waste of time, Incompetent company who seems to have lost trust and confidence by many people reading from all the negative reviews!

Terrible 

 Terrible - blind fitter in this case Pitzor doesn't reply to any message to schedule to fit. I've even tried calling Hilary's who say they will sort it and don't. Never mind that the original measurement person measured 2 sets of blind wrong too. Been a year - still nothing.

 Dont  buy blinds velux windows

Don’t buy blinds for velux windows. After three months both of the ones supplied fell to bits. Only after complaining vigorously did we get a refund. Not good and certainly not to be recommended.

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. No acceptable attitude for the mistakes they have done. Once they take money from your account..that's it.

Did not deliver agreed design and now not ready to accept their mistake.

Bluntly saying they did what was agreed and now not going to refund or take any actions

One of the worst customer service.

Now as response to this feedback they might say - we are sorry or apologize which trust me they would never mean it.. !!!

Dont touch this cowboys company if you value

Don't touch this company if you value your money. I have been waiting since last year for a call back from this cowboys company. My blinds started falling apart before the warranty expired last year. I called them on Mon 22/06/2020 11:35 with reference number Hillarys Blinds Ref: 9203618. Please see the original response:
As per our conversation today, I can confirm I have passed your details on to a manager to allocate you a service call.
They never called back to resolve the warranty defect.
They are only interested to get your money and sell a product. Robbers with aggressive advertising.
I will contact their CEO today on Linkedin.

 Atrocious Customer service 

I am still waiting after 2 years now the issues with my conservatory roof blinds to be rectified.
Incorrectly surveyed & measured which lead to them being manufactured to the incorrect angles.
Basically like fitting a round peg in a square hole !
Hillary’s have no interest whatsoever in taking ownership of the their errors.
Local representative came to our house around 6 months ago & PROMISED to take full ownership & address my concerns. He completely agreed that the completed installation was completely un acceptable & has done nothing whatsoever.
In a nutshell £3,500 down the drain.
Shame on you Hillary's blinds…

 Fitting dates are not guaranteed

Would give 0 stars if i could. After waiting over months for a pre-Christmas fitting, and told it won't happen. Fitting dates are NOT guaranteed and all the advisors can tell me is 'we are not offering refunds at this time'. Refunds aren't there to be 'offered' Hillary's, they are there when you can't deliver on the service I paid for 4 months ago. Absolute con, am now £7k out of pocket and no closer to getting my shutters fitted.

Ordered new curtains in November..

Ordered new curtains in November, told order would be delivered early January .Rep called to say no sign of the curtains ,Even he was in the dark ,nothing heard from Hilary blinds at all about the delay .We were going to order blinds also but not now from them .We will go to a more reliable company .Will not use them again or recommend them .

Shocking service 


 Still waiting to hear from customer service…I put a review on a couple of days ago, they respond saying they will look into this and guess what still nothing. Absolutely terrible customer service…please use local company…I wish I could get my money back and cancel order but they said I can’t. They tell me I have to put up with their bad customer service due to the shutters already being ordered. Absolutely disgraceful. I’m in my 40’s and never wrote a bad review in my life…AVOID HILARYS BLINDS!!!

 Awful blinds dont use 

Awful blinds . Over priced , unprofessional and have ruined the look of the house very disappointed. They took the full amount of money before anything was done . Never have I worked with such a poor company. The fitter was pretty unhelpful when your complain .

This cheap company will come in ruin your house and then not repair it back, The management are cowards and wont accept they have . The customer service is poor and they will never help a client, Even when you send pics in,

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE COWBOY FITTERS, THEY WILL NEVER HELP , THE BLINDS ARE POOR / CHEAP and TACKY, YOU WILL BE LEFT DISAPPOINTED,

STILL WAITING FOR A MANAGER TO CALL ME BACK ITS BEEN 3 WEEKS, THEY ARE COWARDS
